Modeling: Finite difference migration modeling in an elastic (including anisotropy) and acoustic model. The software package allows counting for various wave effects and AVO curves for 2D digital complex models of a solid body.

Interpretation: Interpretation of real seismic data is compared to results of seismic section modeling with complex solid body properties, including thin-layering, anisotropy, fractures, absorption etc.

Synthetic gathers and wave field snapshots can be analyzed during pre-stack interpretation stages. The presence of target horizons and other features in a geological-geophysical model can be validated by comparing real seismic data with synthetic time and depth sections.
