The model is developed on the base of geology-geophysical section along the line of ground surface and see observations. It is characterized by the sharp lateral changes of velocities and strongly sloped reflected boundaries.

The fact of similarity between the results of Depth Pre- Stack Migration and the model is evidence of the model accuracy.

A green arrow on the seismic image shows a slope boundary associated with the strong change of velocities. A yellow arrow shows a boundary with the wake velocity contrast. Bellow you can see the depth migration results for the section with significant change of the observation system elevations and complex tectonics.

The source model represents typical geology conditions of a salt stem with close terrigene sediments. (Trajectories of the duplex wave refractions are shown by the arrows).
